Mr. D.S.R.K. Srinivas (Sunny) has over three decades of international professional experience providing Engineering services for industries – both new and expansion projects – as an Owner’s Engineer, and an expert providing Environmental/EHS consulting services to a wide variety of small and medium businesses including manufacturing/process industries, power/energy, etc. Besides providing engineering services for new and modification projects he is also well known for providing expert witness services.

Mr. Srinivas has extensive professional experience in providing Environmental Engineering support for compliance, permitting (Title V, RECLAIM, NSR/PSD), emissions inventory/control technology (BACT/MACT/LAER), air dispersion modeling (ISCST3/AERMOD/CALPUFF), air quality management, air toxics emissions inventory reports (ATIR)/control strategies, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions calculations/verification, environmental auditing, environmental impact assessment/modeling, source/stack testing, compliance management, emission trading, facility environmental recordkeeping/ reporting (semi-annual/annual/SARA Title III Form R/storm-water) for air/water/HAPs, environmental management systems, EH&S support, preparing applications/EMS/Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plans, pollution prevention and control assessments, etc., industrial hygiene and safety studies including industrial hygiene exposure assessments, workplace safety/personal protection audits, and health risk assessment studies including asbestos and lead safety inspections, environmental due diligence studies including environmental site assessments (Phase I and Phase II assessments), environmental transaction screens, etc., site remediation (design and implementation).

On the Pollution Control Systems front, Mr. Srinivas has implemented installation of new systems and assisted with solving problems by troubleshooting and modification of existing emissions control systems such as – thermal oxidizers for Volatile Organic Compounds control, dust collectors for various applications including wood and metal cutting operations, scrubbers for plating operations, emissions compliance achievement for several industrial applications including power plants, manufacturing industries, aerospace industries, furniture and architectural woodworking industries, specialized paint job shops, etc.

On the Turnkey Engineering Services front, Mr. Srinivas has provided support for industrial and energy projects assisting with design/engineering for new and expansion projects, including planning, detailed engineering, equipment specifications, procurement, plant installation, permitting (city, fire, and environmental), and has further assisted with operations and environmental management – including setting up of facility level environmental compliance systems including materials inventory system, materials usage recordkeeping, periodic emissions recordkeeping, quality management programs (including ISO 9001, ISO 14001), hazardous material inventory, health and safety (EHS) program and recordkeeping, and hygiene monitoring plans, and also compliance reporting services. Further, he has experience in providing environmental site assessments and remediation services including sound design and implementation of both ex-situ and in-situ remediation systems.

During his International Professional Career, Mr. Srinivas has successfully completed several Energy, Engineering, and Environmental projects in the United States of America (USA), Middle East, South East Asia including India; managed and participated in several projects funded by multilateral agencies including the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP), United National Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).

Mr. Srinivas holds Masters degrees in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Pollution Management, and Urban and Regional Planning, and specialized trainings in Advanced Air Pollution Modeling, and Advanced Design of Electrostatic Precipitators, and holds specific certifications as Green House Gas Emissions Verifier, 40-hour HAZWOPER, Visual Emissions Observation (VEO), and ISO 9001 Internal Auditor.
